Daley K

Kinnordy Stud’s operation in Australia commenced in 1983 and the very first mating resulted in a colt, born 8/01/1984, named  DALEY K, by Daktylus (imp), out of Gold Song (imp). He was sold as a three-year-old and later sold on to Dennis Crane, Blackall Park in Victoria who campaigned him with considerable success in showjumping.

Though rejected by the licensing panel of the AWHA, he became one of the most successful sires of sport-horses in Australia with numerous highly performing progeny in dressage, showjumping and eventing, namely Warlord II (bred by Dennis Crane) who represented Australia at the World Cup final under Gavin Chester at Las Vegas 04/07. With WIKING (gelding by Winterkoenig (imp), dam Office Time xx), under Nancy French, team member of the Australian dressage team at the WEG at Rome, and  KS GENOA(mare by Graf Landau (imp), dam Fast Khan xx), under Peter McMahon, team member of the Australian showjumping team at the WEG Aachen 2006 and the OLYMPIC GAMES AT BEJING/HONG KONG , Kinnordy Stud has produced two Australian-bred Warmblood horses competed at this high international level in dressage and showjumping.
