Aims & Objectives

PREAMBLE


Studbook Kinnordy was established in February 2003. It serves the Australian/New Zealand breeder of Warmblood Horses for Equestrian Sports with an effective, progressive and comprehensive studbook.

The studbook contains a set of breeding/assessment/registration guidelines and rules. However there may be amendments should Studbook Kinnordy decide that these amendments serve the achievement of the breeding aim .

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES


Breeding Aim
The breeding aim is to achieve a willing, noble, highly talented and well-conformed Warmblood horse for all disciplines of Equestrian Sports - Dressage, Jumping, Eventing, Driving.

Objectives
The objectives of the Studbook Kinnordy are to
* promote and improve the breeding of Warmblood Horses for Equestrian Sports
* keep accurate stud records of stallion, mare and foal registrations
* issue birth certificates, registration and assessment certificates
* conduct stallion and mare classifications
* follow assessment criteria of leading European breed societies
* conduct shows for broodmares, foals and young horses
* provide qualified and experienced classifiers for fair and unbiased assessment
* assist the breeder with good advice
* collect and publish performance results of registered horses

Membership
There are no membership fees and no legal liabilities or obligations.

Common Seal
A common seal is used for all certifications.
