Daley K

DAYLEY K, 1984, stallion by Daktylus (imp) out of Gold Song (imp) by Goldstern

Kinnordy Stud’s operation in Australia commenced in 1983 and the very first mating resulted in a colt, born 8/01/1984, named DALEY K. He grew up at Kinnordy and was sold as a three-year-old, and later sold on to Dennis Crane, Blackall Park, Victoria, who campaigned him with considerable success in showjumping.

Though rejected by the licensing panel of the AWHA, Daley K became one of the most successful sires of sporthorses in Australia with numerous highly performing progeny in dressage, showjumping and eventing, namely Warlord II (bred by Dennis Crane) who represented Australia at the World Cup final under Gavin Chester at Las Vegas 04/07.

In the 2008 breeding season he still had been in demand and served nearly twenty mares.

In January 2009, Dennis gave a 25th birthday party for Daley K who enjoyed the celebrations held in his honour.

Viva, Daley!
